Lower One had an history experience day where they enjoyed a ‘visiting’ Stone Age workshop.
The children had a full day of being immersed in life during the Stone Age. With the instructor, the children learnt about the different stages of the period and how we, as humans, have evolved through millions of years.
They built a model of Stonehenge, had the opportunity to explore historical artefacts such as weapons, animal skins and jewellery and even took part in a very dramatic battle which concluded the late Stone Age period.
The children looked tremendous in their best animal print, faux fur costumes and thoroughly enjoyed the day! it was fantastic to see them so enthusiastic and engaged.
