On Monday, the school hosted the inaugural District Dance Competition. Several local schools took part in the competition that was judged in two age categories.
The Judge, Ms. Staunton, had a very difficult time in selecting the prize winners from a very diverse range of dance styles, some of which featured up to 30 children whilst others entered solo performers.
We were thrilled to share with you that we came first in both categories. Children from Lower One and Upper One performed their street dance ‘Gangsta Grannies’ and children from Lower Two and Upper Two performed their contemporary piece ‘How do I say Goodbye?’
Congratulations to our dancers, who are now District Champions and thank you to Mrs. Walsh for her organisation of the event.
