Before School Care Admission

Before School Care runs from 8am till 8:40am for all children, including breakfast and is charged at £6 per session. Please note that bookings should be made 24 hours in advance via the office.

Activities

We offer a range of activities that the children can independently choose once they have eaten their breakfast. These activities include; colouring, puzzles, role play and board games.

The School car park can be used to drop children into before school care. Entrance is via the side gate of the school building.

Catering

Children are offered healthy breakfast options. This includes toast, fruit and juice. All dietary requirements or allergies must be advised when booking your child into before school care.

After School Care Admission

After school care runs from 3pm till 5:15pm for all children, including snacks and is charged at £6 per hour or part of. After school care is based in the classroom on the basement level. Pupils will go straight to after school care once the school day has finished. Please note that bookings should be made 24 hours in advance via the office. Contact details as before school care.

Activities

Children are offered healthy snack options. This includes toast, fruit and juice. All dietary requirements or allergies must be advised when booking your child into after school care.

Car Park

The school car park can be used to collect children from after school care. Pupils can be picked up via the side gate of the school building where there is a doorbell located on the back door. A member of staff will ask you to sign the pupil out.

Late Charges

If your child is on a booked session and is not collected at the end of the booked session, then the appropriate charge will be applied for the following session.

Collection of Children – not staying for After School Care

Any child who has not been collected* will automatically be taken into after school care and the appropriate charge levied to parents.

*Times may vary slightly depending on the school’s staggered end of day pick up times.

Club collection and sporting events – not booked for after school care

Parents have the option of booking their children into after school care in advance. However, any child who has not been collected ten minutes after the advertised pick up time will be taken into the after school care and the appropriate charge levied to parents.

Ratios

For the safety and wellbeing of our pupils, legal ratios are strictly observed and therefore there is a cap to the number of pupils that we can accept. This is in line with our safeguarding procedures.

Please note that we rely upon the existing medical and dietary information we hold on file for your child and would stress the importance of ensuring that this information is always accurate and up to date. If there are any changes, please contact the school office.
