Transition visited Imperial War Museum Duxford. It was a beautiful and sunny day, with the children braving the cold and windy airfield of Duxford to learn about the History of Flight as part of their History topic.

They went to British Air Space and explored Concorde, walked through the Comet and found out about passenger planes. The children saw a piece of cloth which

was taken from the Wright flier and sequenced the ages of different planes. They also visited the American Hanger and found out about planes such as the B52 Bomber and the Blackbird spy plane.

The children were complimented on their excellent behaviour and organisational skills! It was a wonderful and exciting day.
